Helping You Find Balance With Personalized Reiki Sessions
Feel Like It’s Time to Unblock the Energy in Your Life, But Can’t Seem to Find a Way?
You already have energy in the body, but it may be blocked and not flowing smoothly. During or after a treatment, you may feel the effects of energy being unblocked. By encouraging your system toward balance, Reiki practice can help you in any situation, even when it isn’t the only help you need.
What Is Reiki?
Can Reiki help me?
The word Reiki comes from “Rei” meaning God’s wisdom or higher power, and “Ki” meaning life force energy. Combined, Reiki means “spiritually guided life force energy.”
This technique is used to heal physical and mental trauma, and to support mental clarity and spiritual well-being.
It could clear out the pollutants that prevent free energy flow...
It could push away pain, anxiety, and negative emotions...
It may bring balance to your life, heal your Chakras, and fill you with contentment and a sense of deep understanting...
I know, because that's what it did for my clients and myself...

Suggestions to enhance
your Reiki session
Below is how to best prepare for and receive the most out of your reiki sessions. The recommendations are so that you can be in alignment with your unique healing journey.
Before your session:
1. Relax + reflect
Prior to our session, I recommend at least 30 minutes to sit and reflect. Really notice how your body is feeling and the emotions, thoughts or physical sensations that are coming up on that given day.
I welcome you to try to reflect on any intentions you want to set for your session, and anything you want to share before you begin.
2. Eat + hydrate
Be sure to eat and hyrdrate a few hours before your session. Mostly, so you will be as comfortable as possible and not distracted by hunger or thirst.
3. Get comfy
I recommend wearing comfortable clothes, or bring socks since shoes are removed during the session and the feet can get cold. Comfort is key for being open to taking on and integrating the Reiki energy.
You’ll also want to use the restroom before the session, and if the position you are in for your session is uncomfortable in any way, communicate this, I want to be sure you are as comfortable as possible.
After your session:
1. Integrate
The benefits of our treatment can occur as soon as after the session is over and it’s important to find somewhere quiet and relaxing to integrate what may flow.
I recommend taking at least 15-20 minutes after the session to meditate, lie down, go for a walk in nature or even take a nap. Try not to book or schedule anything immediately after your session.
2. Hydrate
After doing any type of energy work it’s important to hydrate, so be sure to drink 1-2 glasses of water after your session.
3. Eat
Energy work is often hungry work, and you may find yourself hungry immediately after your session. Be sure you listen to your body and choose a healthy snack or meal afterward if needed.
Eating can also help ground the body and as a bonus, you may find that a piece of dark chocolate be quite restorative.
4. Reflect
I recommend that clients after the session reflect and capture any insights they had during and immediately after the session. Journaling, drawing or jotting down some notes of your experience.
Meditating or listen to calming and/or inspirational music afterwards whatever you choose to do, find an activity that helps you connect to what you've experienced so you can draw on it in future.
5. Connect with your reiki practitioner
Reiki is extremely gentle and energy blockages are being cleared in the body, issues may come up as a result.
Please get in touch with Ann, should you experience any challenging emotions, physical sensations or feel overly uncomfortable after your treatment.
